Jane’s private practice blends her lengthy career as a Trademark Agent and Lawyer with Wills and Estates Law. In the mid-80s, Jane qualified as a Trademark Agent and worked with two Bay Street law firms in Toronto. She moved to Windsor where as Director of Trademarks for a global wine and spirits company she was responsible for many famous brands including Canadian Club, Kahlua, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Baskin-Robbins. There she attained a law degree from the University of Windsor. Moving back to Oakville, she joined BlackBerry where she managed a legal team responsible for the protection, enforcement and licensing of the company’s trademarks globally. FOCUS ON THE SPECIAL NEEDS COMMUNITY After 25 years in practicing in the Intellectual Property law community, Jane has broadened her practice to include Wills and Estate law, with a focus on the special needs community. Jane Bullbrook – Barrister & Solicitor

BONDS Autism Centre was founded by Vanessa Lane in response to parent requests to advance social skill development opportunities in the Halton and surrounding regions. Vanessa has been in the field for 12 years and has seen first-hand the waitlists and limited resources available. Vanessa was introduced into the field with an Undergraduate degree in Childhood and Social Institutions and then a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences. She later went on to complete a Master’s degree in Applied Disability Studies, specializing in ABA. Vanessa has a passion for working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and recognizes individual and age-appropriate needs. As a new mom herself, she understands the dedication and commitment that parents have towards their children. Staff of BONDS Autism Centre are passionate and enthusiastic individuals. They are friendly and recognize the strengths and needs of those they support. The staff come to BONDS with a variety of educational and practical hands-on experience. Camelot Centre is a creative day program for adults with developmental disabilities in Burlington, ON. We are a not-for-profit, registered charity, offering continuing education, life skills, physical fitness, recreation, crafts and social interaction in a structured environment for adults, over the age of 20. Incorporated in July 2006, Camelot Centre was started by a board of dedicated parents whose children, upon completing their high school educations, had no program in the community to meet their special requirements. We work very had to make Camelot Centre the “congenial spot” that meets the needs of each client.
