Jane Bullbrook – Barrister & Solicitor

Jane’s private practice blends her lengthy career as a Trademark Agent and Lawyer with Wills and Estates Law.  In the mid-80s, Jane qualified as a Trademark Agent and worked with two Bay Street law firms in Toronto. She moved to Windsor where as Director of Trademarks for a global wine and spirits company she was responsible for many famous brands including Canadian Club, Kahlua, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Baskin-Robbins. There she attained a law degree from the University of Windsor. Moving back to Oakville, she joined BlackBerry where she managed a legal team responsible for the protection, enforcement and licensing of the company’s trademarks globally. BONDS Autism Centre was founded by Vanessa Lane in response to parent requests to advance social skill development opportunities in the Halton and surrounding regions. Vanessa has been in the field for 12 years and has seen first-hand the waitlists and limited resources available. Vanessa was introduced into the field with an Undergraduate degree in Childhood and Social Institutions and then a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences. She later went on to complete a Master’s degree in Applied Disability Studies, specializing in ABA. Vanessa has a passion for working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and recognizes individual and age-appropriate needs. As a new mom herself, she understands the dedication and commitment that parents have towards their children. Staff of BONDS Autism Centre are passionate and enthusiastic individuals.
